- Read clues that instructed us to use our compasses and measurements to locate hidden geocaches
- Observed lots of nature as we worked our way through the clues to locate all nine geocaches
- Continued to build and put the finishing touches on our shelters
- Had a gallery walk to look at each group's shelter
- Listened to ways that the groups would improve the shelter if they had more time
- Helped Miss Chris by dismantling our shelters so that next week's guests will have the fun of building their own
- Said our good-byes and headed back to school where we were rescued from our survival week :)
We truly enjoyed all of the experiences that the CNC staff designed and executed. They prepared lessons that were fun and engaging. The activities gave us opportunities to work on our social and teamwork skills, too.
Thank you, Chippewa Nature Center, for once again hosting our Bullock Creek students for the week. You all truly make every day a great day to VENTURE OUT!
