Think! Energy program – a 60 minute interactive, hands-on presentation with a take home energy efficiency kit for each participating student and teacher. The program teaches the importance of energy, natural resources and environmental resources, and gives each participating student’s family energy-efficient technologies to install at home.
Miss Mary & Miss Connie from Consumers Energy recently presented several energy concepts to the children. Here's a brief description of the program from the Think! Energy website: Sun. Moon. Stars. Our trip to the planetarium today was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We learned about planets, constellations, eclipses, and much more! Due to copyright laws, photos of the pre-recorded program could not be posted. The pictures below are from before/after the show. Even the Veterans Memorial Bridge over the Saginaw River gave us a show on the way back!
Thank you to our chaperones for going with us on the trip: Mrs. Dupuis, Mr. Hale, & Mr. Long. Your help was appreciated! Many students are hoping to return with their families soon. It was a sea of green and gold (chocolate coins) in our classroom today. Want to learn about St. Patrick's Day? Then check out this BrainPop video.
