It's the day to wear blue and/or purple. Tomorrow we'll sport our black and gold to cheer on Bullock Creek.
It's Oompa Loompa Day! Take a look at our sea of orange and green. Tomorrow will be Violet Day. Students are encouraged to dress in blue and/or purple.
The kids got a kick out of "Dress Like a Grandparent" Day. I found many walking with a limp and nursing a sore back. Cheers to the Golden Years!
Tie-Dye Day was a colorful way to kick off Homecoming Spirit Week. Tune in each day to see our creative creations for our Willy Wonka-themed week.
It was a beautiful day for a walk to the Chippewa Nature Center. The students participated in the Aquatic Life program where they learned about biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) components of a pond ecosystem (a place where the living and nonliving things function together). More specifically, they learned about what makes aquatic life (plants and animals that grow, live, or visit water) adapted for life in the water. They collected specimens (samples) from the edges of a pond and then used microscopes to closely observe and identify the organisms (living things) that they found.
Thank you to our many helpers. Thank you, CNC guides, Miss Kris, Miss Alivia, and Mr. Rod. We learned so much! Thank you to our chaperones for being with us: Mr. Ells, Mrs. French, Mrs. Liphard, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Rhynard, and Ms. Robin. Thank you to Mrs. Liphard and Ms. Robin for sharing some pictures with us, too! |
